If it had not been for the LORD who was on our side,
We may say;

If it had not been for the LORD who was on our side,
when darkness tried to attacked us:

We could have been consumed,
when their wrath was kindled against us:

When their hate had overwhelmed us,
when our soul was forgotten:

THEN the LIGHT SHONE on us and our Soul.
Blessed be the LORD,

Darkness and Death no longer effected us.
Our soul flew and soared as a bird,

Out of the snare of the dark ones:
their snare is broken and we escaped.

Our help is in the name of the LORD,
who made heaven and earth. Amen
